SEBAS ("we", "our", or "the app") is a Shopify app that provides smart pricing for your store. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, where it is stored, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

We collect and process the following in order to provide the app:

  • Account and store data: Shop domain, store details, and (when you sign up or log in) your name and email. We receive store and account information from Shopify when you install or connect the app.
  • Product and variant data: Product and variant identifiers, titles, prices, and inventory-related information. We sync this from your Shopify store and receive updates via webhooks so we can run smart pricing and show analytics.
  • Order and sales data: Order and line-item data (e.g. product, variant, quantity, revenue) from Shopify. We use this to compute sales-based metrics, revenue, and to power the smart pricing algorithm.
  • Billing and payment data: We use the Shopify Billing API to create and manage charges. We do not store or process your card details; payment processing is handled by Shopify.
  • Usage and performance data: We collect Web Vitals (e.g. Largest Contentful Paint, Cumulative Layout Shift, Interaction to Next Paint) from the admin app to measure performance. These do not identify you personally.
  • Cookies and session data: We use session and authentication cookies so you can stay logged in and use the app. These are necessary for the app to function.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the data above to:

  • Provide smart pricing, analytics, and pricing history.
  • Calculate and collect fees via Shopify Billing.
  • Operate, secure, and improve the app (including performance monitoring).
  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations and to enforce our terms.

We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. Where We Store Your Data

Your data is stored in secure cloud infrastructure. We use Supabase for our database and Shopify for store, product, order, and billing data. Data may be processed in the United States, the European Economic Area, or other regions where these services operate.

4. Data Sharing

We share data only as needed to run the app:

  • Shopify: Store, product, order, and billing data are exchanged with Shopify via their APIs and webhooks.
  • Supabase: Database and authentication are hosted on Supabase.
  • Other: We may disclose data if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger or sale of assets. We do not sell or rent your data.

5. Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as your store uses the app and as needed for billing, support, and legal compliance. When you uninstall the app, we process the shop/redact webhook from Shopify and delete your shop's data from our systems.

6. Your Rights (including GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction that provides these rights, you may:

  • Access your personal data and receive a copy.
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erase your data, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Data portability: receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
  • Complain to a supervisory authority.

7. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or non-essential tracking cookies.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when the policy was last changed.
